Annual JASPA Summer Retreats

PURPOSE
The Jesuit Association of Student Personnel Administrators (JASPA) sponsors periodic summer retreats to continue its work of educating our colleagues in the unique vision that defines Jesuit higher education, to prepare them to work within this environment, and to renew them in their continuing efforts.

COLLEAGUES
The JASPA Summer retreat is designed primarily for Student Affairs professionals working at our institutions who are new to the field, or who have moved to a Jesuit college or university after career experiences elsewhere. However, other professionals at our institutions or affiliate members of JASPA are welcome to apply as well.

RETREAT FORMAT
A retreat-style experience including times for personal reflection, group interaction and presentations. Topics include "Scenes from the life of St. Ignatius, the Spiritual Exercises and their application to Jesuit Higher Education," "Men and Women for Others," "Personal Hopes and Expectations," "Cura Personalis," "Ignatian Discernment," and "The Role of Women in Jesuit Universities."
